Attorneys GEORGE ZELMA and DAVID BERLIN

A student classified under I.D.E.A. is entitled to a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). We review and help you analyze school programs and help you to assess your child's needs and placement. Our goal is to make sure that every student is receiving the benefits of instruction.

Our experienced advocates, who work under the direct supervision of our attorneys, will assist and accompany you to the Committee on Special Education (CSE) reviews. Our attorneys will work to find a fair resolution and and try to settle your case with your school district. If we cannot obtain a settlement, we will represent you at an Impartial Hearing or at the next administrative level, an appeal to the State Review Office (SRO), or in State or Federal Court.

We will also represent students at Suspension Hearings and Manifestation Reviews and Hearings.
